● Vice-Chairperson: Union Minister for Jal Shakti
● Members:
○ Union Ministers from key departments, including Environment, Finance, Power, Housing, Science & Technology, Tourism, and Shipping
○ Chief Ministers of states through which the Ganga and its tributaries flow
○ Vice Chairperson of NITI Aayog.

Statement 2 is correct: Project Dolphin is an initiative that got in-principal approval at the first meeting of the National Ganga Council (NGC), headed by the Prime Minister. National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG &ndash; registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act 1860) is the implementation wing of NGC. The proposed project is aimed at saving both river and marine dolphins.

Statement 3 is correct: One of the major components of Namami Gange Programme is &lsquo;forestry interventions&rsquo; to enhance the productivity and diversity of the forests in head water areas and all along the river and its tributaries
